EMDR for Recent Traumatic Episodes

A traumatic episode includes the original event that occurred plus the aftermath; the critical event plus all of the experiences relating to this event up to today is seen as a trauma continuum. I utilize EMDR therapy to help victims of recent traumatic episodes make a full recovery. Examples of traumatic episodes include:
  • Shootings
  • Fires
  • Earthquakes
  • Transient stress from recent trauma
  • A significant loss or break up of relationship
  • Infidelity
  • Bombings
  • Car accidents
  • Witnessing a tragic death
  • Witnessing a crime
